KATHMANDU NAGARKOT CHITWAN KATHMANDU
 
All National Parks are closed from 01 June to 30 September every year.
 
Day 01 :- Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel
 
Day 02 :- Kathmandu
AM - Half day sightseeing to Kathmandu city and Swayambhunath. City sightseeing tour visiting the Durbar square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati temple, Machhender Bahl-Holy place for the Buddhists and Hindus, temple house of Kumari, the vestal virgin or the living goddess. Swaymbhunath stupa, a Buddhisht shrine believed to be more than 2000 yrs old on the hillock of western part of Kathmandu. PM - Half day sightseeing to Patan city and Tibetan Handicraft Center. Patan also known as Lalitpur, is the city of fine arts. The city is enclosed within 4 stupas. These stupas were said to have been built in the 3rd century AD by Emperor Ashoka of India. Highlights: Durbar Square, the Patan Old City palace with a bronze collection, the Krishna Mandir built by King Siddhi Narasingh Malla, and Mahabouddha Temple. Overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast)
 
Day 03 :- Kathmandu Nagarkot
AM - Sightseeing to the ancient towns of Bhaktapur & Changu Narayan. Bhadgaon was founded in the 9th century and is shaped like a conch shell. Highlights: Durbar square the palace with 55 windows, Nyatapola temple, pottery square. Bhadgaon is located 14 km east of Kathmandu.) Changu Narayan, it is said to be the oldest temple in the valley, built by King Hari Dutta Varma in 323 AD. The temple is richly decorated with sculptures and carvings. PM – Drive to Nagarrkot ( 2100meter). Nagarkot is 32 km east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2100 meter from the sea level. From Bhaktapur it is only 18 KM away. The Panorama of major peaks of eastern Nepal can be seen from here in a clear day. Overnight at hotel in Nagarkot. (Breakfast)
 
Day 04 :- Kathmandu Chitwan
Sunrise view from the hotel ( subject to clear weather). After breakfast leave for Chitwan. Total distance is about 150 km and the time taken will be about 5 hours. Check-in at Hotel. The Royal Chitwan National Park, provides a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna. Overnight at Lodge ( B,L,D).
 
Day 05 :- Chitwan
Full day jungle activities in the National Park including Elephant back safari. Overnight at Lodge. ( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)
 
Day 06 :- Chitwan Kathmandu
After breakfast leave for Kathmandu. PM - Half day sightseeing to Bouddhanath. Boudhanath is one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and believed to be built by King Manadeva. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)
 
Day 07 :- Kathmandu
AM - Sightseeing of the ancient Hindu temple of Pashupatinath Pashupatinath, is one of the holiest Hindu temples of Lord Shiva. Located in the bank of Bagmati River, here Hindus cremate their dead bodies. (Entrance for Hindus only inside the temple). PM:- Free Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)
 
Day 08 :- Departure
Transfer to airport for return flight. (Breakfast)
