The village of dugaur lies in merwara region. One of the most interesting
features here is the temple of karni mata and the adjoining land around it
called Oran. A protected temple land, this area has managed to maintain its
thick vegetation and also attracts a large variety of birds. Dugaur is a
convenient stopover. The village is rich in folk traditions and offers tourist
an insight into rural lifestyle.
Dugaur Garh (Dugaur - Rajasthan)
The dugaur fort was built in 1750 a.d. it is built in a traditional rajput
style, having an imposing entrance gate, courtyards and balconies. The rooms are
large and airy and some of them have frescoes still in a very good condition.
Among the events organized on request for the visitor are the camel safaris to
pushkar along with camping facilities.
